Hope you are well. As unlikely as it might seem, I managed to get myself around the full Marathon in Stockholm !

Took your advice on a reserved first section (especially as 29C) and by half way there was no way I wasn’t going to finish. The ankle/ calf held up perfectly and got to the Olympic Stadium with enough left to enjoy the home straight (considerably more than the flight of stairs down to the locker area!)

Thanks so much for all of your effort in getting me ready (have attached a couple of pictures, one with Hannah looking very pleased to be wearing my sweat stained cap).
